Wordware is a documentation knowledge and business process management consulting firm. Our operations entail output at an administrative level.
- We do not source raw materials, manufacture, assemble or distribute
- We do not sell a physical product
- We do however consume and travel.
Our policy is to reduce, reuse and recycle.
We consume electricity for lighting, heating and computers. Our policy is to reduce consumption by:
- Limiting our lighting to only areas occupied by staff
- Turning appliances off overnight where practicable
- Purchasing low power consumption computers
- Setting Air Conditioning to moderate levels of comfort.
Disabling screen savers and implementing ‘sleep mode’ for periods of inactivity for our computers.
We recycle:
- All recyclable waste, including cans, bottles and office paper
- Fluorescent Light globes via the CMA Eco-cycle bins
- Print cartridges where such services are available and endeavour to purchase printers on this basis.
We have minimal print requirements and encourage double sided printing on recycled paper.
As practicable and cost-effective options become available we will continue to reduce, reuse and recycle to continuously minimise our carbon footprint.
We want to become sustainable through ongoing ‘culture change’ and offer Eco-Friendly solutions to all staff.
We have dramatically reduced our travel requirements by setting up offices close to our client bases and servicing clients locally; we make extensive use of video conferencing and other forms of electronic communications to minimise our need to travel.
